just because i’m not born and raised in new york, doesn’t mean i’m not a new yorker.

the majority of this city is made up of immigrants. from other countries, other states, other cities, etc.
so please for the love of GOD get off your high horse and allow me to be passionate and love this city, MY CITY.

People constantly tell me that I’m not a “real” New Yorker because I’ve only lived in the city for three years. Even though I’m from upstate New York.
