Fighting Fat

Combating twenty one years of self hatred and unhealthy habits with clean eating and hard work.
That’s a good message, but I don’t think size zero existed back then. And why do we need to use Marilyn Monroe to remind girls that they don’t need to be a size zero? She was a woman who was consumed by the fact that she was seen as just a sexual object. Being beautiful was almost a curse for her. Why can’t we put fake quotes on pictures of Marie Curie or Harriet Tubman? I don’t mean to belittle Marilyn Monroe because I don’t think she was ever really given the chance to do more, but the world is filled with women who are beautiful because of the wonderful and amazing things they do.
